Since I can remember I have been
told that when I grew up I would go to college. So, when I finished high school
I never wondered if I actually wanted to go to college, I just went.
When younger I wanted to study a
lot of things, law, psychiatry, veterinary, etc. I never thought I would end up
studying psychology. I just started to be interested on people, and trying to
understand them, not in a “reading your mind” kind of way, but instead, I
wanted to understand how they got to be the way they are on the present. Now I’m
studying for a whole different reason.
I always wanted to come to
Universidad de Chile, because everyone I knew told me that this was the best university
of Chile and I believed them, now I think different but that’s another story.
Even tho I came here without been sure
or not knowing what I wanted from this career, I don’t regret anything, because
studying psychology has given to me so much and I’m really grateful for that.
It's good that psychology gave you what you needed :)
